What information helps prepare an estimate?
Prepare a list of works with dimensions, weight, material, photographs, current packing, origin and destination, dates and access restrictions. Valuation and insurance requirements can be discussed privately with the service provider.
Does every work need a wooden crate?
Packing should be selected for the object, its condition, the route and handling environment. Ask for an assessment before deciding between soft packing, travel frames or custom crates.
How should an exhibition shipment be planned?
Work back from installation and opening dates. Include packing, shipping, document preparation, venue access, unpacking, empty-crate storage and the return journey.
